7 Gallon Fountain

CANNOT USE ANY FRUIT JUICE WITH PULP.  MUST BE PULP FREE FRUIT JUICE OR IT WILL CLOG THE FOUNTAIN PIPES AND BURN OUT THE MOTOR.

To get a 7-gallon champagne fountain flowing, you need 3.5 to 4 gallons in the base reservoir (about 14 to 16 quarts). In standard 750ml bottles, this translates to 18 to 20 bottles just to start the fountain, plus extra for refilling and serving guests.

Keep these key factors in mind when stocking up:
  • Starting Volume: A fountain should never be run dry, nor should the base be overfilled. A 7-gallon fountain typically needs to have the pump submerged to work properly.
  • Total Bottles Needed: A standard 750ml bottle is roughly 0.2 gallons. If you want to keep the fountain running for a large crowd, you will likely need 30 to 40+ bottles depending on the duration of your event and your guest count.
  • Pro Tip: Carbonated beverages like true Champagne, Cava, or Prosecco can lose their bubbles and become flat or over-aerated when continuously pumped through a fountain. Many event planners opt to use less expensive sparkling wines or still wines mixed with fruit juices (like mimosas or punches) to avoid a foamy, flat mess
